【编者按：近期热映的电影《Oppenheimer》为大众提供了一个深思的题材：科技发明与人性及人类文明的关系，是正面还是负面？本文总结了老阎对科技发展与人类长远利益关系的观点。

科学发明大多是因为懒惰至少是为了懒惰—省事省能而搞出来的。
如果不考虑长期后果，现代科学的确给人类带来了方便与舒适。几年前中国排放污染企业也是这么想的。吸毒海洛因的人想破脑袋都理解不了政府为何要禁毒，他们认为有海洛因，结婚干什么？要后代干嘛？工作干嘛？最舒服的事不干，干别的？你们傻不傻啊？
因为这些人只想眼前的利益和舒适。其它生物无法生存了，人类后代也走向灭绝了，他们才不管呢！今日有酒今朝醉。
在人类漫长的享受大自然的时光里，有文化的人以作诗填词消磨时光的确比搞科学技术破坏地球强得多。现代科学技术也就三百多年，地球就发展到灭绝了绝大多数生物物种了，而且以20年灭绝50%的速度发展。所谓的科学技术发明家们还在被推崇，使人类快速走向灭绝，本质上是人类贪婪本性决定的。遏制科学技术的发展，会有损于很多人的既得利益，但是是对人类后代的负责。
在时间窗口很短的时候人类所得出的结论与把时间窗口拉长后得出的结论是相反的。就拿当年崇拜希特勒的德国人、崇拜斯大林的苏联人、崇拜毛泽东的红卫兵，在短时间窗口来说，他们三人的确是英雄；但把时间窗口拉远，人们就会认识到这三人是上世纪三大杀人魔王。科学家也一样，一旦时间窗口拉远，在人类灭绝的最后一刻，那时的人们会认同今天润涛阎的判断：那些在短时间窗口内被崇拜的科学家们在历史的长河里是毁灭地球生物包括人类本身的罪犯。
如果以每20年地球物种灭绝50%计算，轮到人类灭绝应该还有200多年。然而，科学技术的发展现在挖资源已经挖到地下1000米以下了，用不了多久就扩大到海底。把所有的对地球生物有毒的有灭绝危险的物质都挖出来，人类还不断合成新的物质发明新材料，最终都是毁灭地球生物的东西。过去20年灭绝的地球生物物种，是上千万年才进化出来的。这个速度在加快。下一个20年，地球物种灭绝的要超过现在物种的50%。如此惊人的灭绝生物速度，全是人类科学技术的结晶。那些崇拜科学技术发明的人们该醒醒了。
任何科学进步都是扯淡的，因为人类对地球的破坏是对人类本身最大的犯罪，而近代三四百年来，几乎所有的科学技术大发现都是破坏地球的。在过去的20年里，地球生物以物种为单位灭绝了20年前的50%。本来地球上对生物有毒害的重金属和放射性物质都是零星分布在大石头里的，是人类那些所谓的著名的科学家们找到了把这些毁坏地球生物的物质开采出来的科学技术，利用完后就无法零星分散到大石头里去了。现在被人类推崇的得诺贝尔科学奖的人，在未来绝大多数是钉在耻辱柱上的罪犯。被人类颠倒了的历史总有一天会被颠倒过来。破坏地球的罪犯排在最前边的就是牛顿居里夫人等现在被人们崇拜者，是他们才有了现代科学技术，而现代科学技术几乎都是破坏地球的。他们自觉不自觉地成了毁灭地球生物的罪犯，其中包括抗生素的发现者。人类是无法追的上细菌突变的，等任何抗生素都失灵的超级细菌进化出来后，人类就到了面临灭绝的境地。抗生素把自然筛选掉面对细菌的不健康者的路堵死了，人类人口大爆炸，最后便是走向衰亡。到那时人们才会意识到是抗生素的发明者也是葬送人类本身的罪犯之一。
搞出原子弹的那批人就是后来极力反对继续研究核武器的人。中国的土壤污染远比空气污染可怕得多，很多重金属和致癌物质在过去30多年里到处排放。很多地方土壤污染到只能打深井300米才能喝的地步。最近开始治理，可谁能把表土里的毒素取出来？本来北韩是人为制造污染的最少国家之一，可也搞起了核污染。中国癌症爆发在过去30年里也是随着物种灭绝走在一起的。美国真把制造业拉回来？那些产生污染的化工厂是不可能让回来的，肯定留在中国或搬到印度越南等地。
遍布地球的核电站，别说天灾大地震、海啸，就是苏联的核电站事故就需要多少年才能清理完？地球上的核废料越来越多，放到哪里？当地球上的其它生物都无法生存了，人类还能存在多久？别说核战争打不起来，很多宗教教徒是非常疯狂的，一旦类似ISIS有了核弹，后果不堪设想。核武、化学武器都是科学家们的杰作，制造的本意就不是杀其它物种的，而是杀人类本身的。

Runtao Yan: Science and technology are beneficial to human beings in the short term and harmful in the long term

This article summarizes Lao Yan’s views on the relationship between technological development and the long-term interests of mankind.

Most scientific inventions are made out of laziness, or at least to save effort and energy.
If we do not consider the long-term consequences, modern science has indeed brought convenience and comfort to mankind. A few years ago, Chinese companies that polluted the environment thought the same way. People who use heroin can’t understand why the government wants to ban drugs. They think heroin is there to make them happy, so why get married? Why do you want offspring? Why do you have to work? Why not enjoy the happiness that heroin brings and do something else? Only stupid people will choose other things over heroin. Because these people only want immediate benefits and comfort. Short-sighted people don’t care if other creatures can’t survive on earth or if the descendants of human beings become extinct. If they have wine today, they will get drunk today.
In the long time when human beings enjoy nature, it is indeed much better for educated people to spend time writing poems and lyrics than to engage in science and technology that leads to the destruction of the earth. Modern science and technology have only existed for around 300 years, and the earth has developed to the point where most biological species have become extinct, and the extinction rate is 50% in 20 years. The so-called inventors of science and technology are still admired, and the rapid extinction of human beings is mainly caused by the greedy nature of human beings. Limiting the development of science and technology will harm the interests of many people, but it is responsible for the future generations of mankind.
When the time window is very short, the conclusions people draw are opposite to those drawn after the time window is extended. Take the examples of the Germans who admired Hitler, the Soviets who admired Stalin, and the Red Guards who admired Mao Zedong. In a short window of time, the three of them are indeed heroes, but if the window of time is extended, people will realize that these three people are the biggest mass murderers of the last century. It is the same with scientists. If the window of time is extended, at the last moment of human extinction, people will agree with Runtao Yan’s judgment today: those scientists who are worshiped in a short window of time are criminals who will exterminate both human beings and other creatures on Earth.
At the rate of 50% extinction of species on Earth every 20 years, it should take about 200 years for humanity to become extinct. With the development of science and technology, human now can dig below 1,000 meters underground to find natural resources, and it will not take long to expand to the seabed. All the substances that are poisonous to the earth’s creatures and that are in danger of extinction are being dug out, and human beings continue to synthesize new substances and invent new materials, all of which will eventually destroy the earth’s creatures. The biological species on Earth that have become extinct in the last 20 years have evolved over tens of millions of years. This rate is accelerating. In the next 20 years, more than 50% of Earth’s species will become extinct. This astonishing rate of extinction is the result of human science and technology. Those who worship scientific and technological inventions should wake up.
Any scientific progress is nonsense, because man’s destruction of the earth is the greatest crime against mankind, and in the last three to four hundred years of modern times, almost all major scientific and technological discoveries have destroyed the earth. In the last 20 years, 50% of the earth’s creatures have become extinct compared to 20 years ago. Originally, the heavy metals and radioactive substances that are poisonous to living things on Earth were scattered in the large rocks. It was the so-called famous scientists of mankind who discovered the science and technology of mining these substances that destroy living things on earth. It cannot be sporadically scattered in big rocks. Most of the Nobel laureates who are respected by humanity today will be criminals nailed to the pillar of shame in the future. History, which has been turned upside down by man, will be turned upside down one day. The criminals who are destroying the earth are at the top of the list, such as Isaac Newton and Marie Curie, who are now admired by people. They contributed to the foundation of modern science and technology, but ironically, modern science and technology almost all will destroy the earth. Consciously or unconsciously, they have become criminals who destroy the earth’s creatures, and the criminals list also includes those who discovered antibiotics. Humans cannot keep up with the mutation of bacteria. After the evolution of super-bacteria, which cannot be cured by any antibiotics, human beings will face extinction. Antibiotics block the way of natural selection to eliminate the unhealthy individuals before the bacteria. The human population is exploding due to antibiotics and will decrease when super bacteria evolve. Only then will people realize that the inventor of antibiotics is also one of the criminals who ruined humanity itself.
The people who made the atomic bomb were the ones who later strongly opposed further research into nuclear weapons. Soil pollution in China is far more frightening than air pollution. Many heavy metals and carcinogens have been released everywhere in the last 30 years. In many places, the soil is so polluted that water can only be drunk by digging a well 300 meters deep. Treatment of the pollution has recently begun, but who can remove the toxins from the topsoil? North Korea used to be one of the countries with the least man-made pollution, but they also started nuclear pollution. Cancer outbreaks in China have also followed species extinction in the last 30 years. The American people will not allow these highly polluting chemical manufacturing plants to come back to the U.S. The plants must stay in China or move to places like India and Vietnam.
There are nuclear power plants all over the world, which are the greatest hidden danger on earth. Natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, and even nuclear power plant accidents can cause terrible disasters. The Chornobyl accident in 1986 has still not been cleaned up. There is more and more nuclear waste on earth. Where to put it? How long can human beings live if other living things on Earth cannot survive? People should not dream that there will be no nuclear war. Many religious people are very crazy. Once a religious group like ISIS possesses the atomic bomb, the consequences will be catastrophic. Nuclear weapons and chemical weapons are masterpieces of scientists, and the original intent of their manufacture is not to kill other species, but to kill human beings themselves.
